Where Every Home Tells a Story
Hi, I’m the face behind Orchard Letting. Originally from Newbridge, Gwent, a small mining town in South Wales, I grew up in a tight-knit community where everyone knew everyone—neighbours, aunts, uncles, each one playing a role in shaping who I am today. After working in retail management for several years, I became a mum to my son, Elliot, in 2002. That’s when life took a turn, and I realized the 10-12 hour workdays and constant commuting weren’t the lifestyle I wanted.
From DIY to Dream Homes
With a passion for DIY and home improvement, I took a leap of faith and bought a house in Wath-upon-Dearne, South Yorkshire. I renovated it and rented it out, creating not just a property, but a home for others. This gave me the flexibility to be there for my family while finding joy in providing homes in the same kind of community I grew up in. It was a game-changer, and Orchard Letting was born.
